FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR
SUPPLIES AND SERVICES
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of , 2022, by and between the City of Merced, a California Charter Municipal Corporation ("City"), and Ward Bros Office Furniture, Inc., a California Corporation, whose address of record is 220 Tully Road, Modesto, California 95350 (hereinafter referred to as "Vendor").
WHEREAS, City requires the supply and delivery of office furniture; and, WHEREAS, City and Vendor have previously entered into an Agreement for Supplies and Services (Agreement") dated August 16, 2021; and, WHEREAS, City and Vendor desire to amend said Agreement to provide for additional time for supply and delivery of the office furniture.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto, in consideration of the mutual covenants hereinafter recited, agree as follows:
1. Section 3, "TERM OF AGREEMENT," of the Agreement is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 3. TERM OF AGREEMENT. The term of
this Agreement shall commence upon the day first above
written and end on September 30, 2022."
3. Except as herein amended, the Agreement dated August 16, 2021, shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have caused this First Amendment to Agreement to be executed on the date first above written.
