I’ve been a resident of Merced since 1979. Attended flight school at the airport. Retired pre-school teacher. I now have time to devote to Merced.

I’m disabled, so not currently employed. In the past I have been a Camp Fire leader and served on their board for almost 10 years. I currently volunteer with the Friends of Merced County Library.
What is your understanding of the roles and responsibilities of this Board or Commission? To oversee community planning and policies of our regional airport.
Do you have experience or special knowledge pertaining to this Board or Commission? I completed ground school at Merced County airport in 1981.

I moved to Merced October 2019 because my son is attending UC Merced. I have a 13 year daughter who I hope will attend UC Merced as well. I like Merced & have big dreams that this city will be one of the best cities in the state so I'd like to offer everything I can for that dream to be realized not only for my family/children but for the generations to come.

I have lived in the city of Merced since I was 19 currently 24 years old I own a home in Merced and I pay taxes I advocate, work full time and I am a mother of one child.
Please list your current employer and relevant volunteer experience.
I am currently sitting on the bicycle committee as a ex-officio on the third district.and on the redistricting advisory committee and want to apply for the at large position on the bicycle and pedestrian committee.
What is your understanding of the roles and responsibilities of this Board or Commission? I have to respect and comply with the brown Act respect my fellow commissioners and advocate for the city I live in.
Do you have experience or special knowledge pertaining to this Board or Commission? I am currently attending a cohort on behalf of Building Healthy Communities called boards and commission leadership institute, yes I have been on a national advisory board for foster youth.
Any other comments you would like to add that may assist the City Council in their decision?
I am a former foster youth and have loads of experience advocating and creating change in the legislative branch of government.

10 year residence of Merced and semi retired, I love Merced and central valley and would be part of development. I have 30 years retail and whole sale business experience in Boston and Silicon Valley Please list your current employer and relevant volunteer experience.
I am President for my religious community in Merced, My volunteer experience is to develop human beings and bring prosperity to society.
What is your understanding of the roles and responsibilities of this Board or Commission? Make a deep study to develop Merced County Airport. If you want to develop Merced City and specially with UC Merced we should have more and regular flights from and to metropolitan cities. Very important for international students and business man.
Do you have experience or special knowledge pertaining to this Board or Commission? NO [ but will learn and develop a retail business on airport also] Any other comments you would like to add that may assist the City Council in their decision?
To grow Merced city, we need to work on transportation 1) high speed rail 2) roads and specially international airport in Merced. Then only the investors will come, now to make a trip from San Francisco to Dc or Fresno to DC you spend extra 10 hours from Fresno/Merced.
