I am a 72 year old retired college educator and I think it is important to contribute.
I have been involved
with Public Safety as a practitioner
(15 yrs) and in education.
(. Merced College 31 yrs). I was a Deputy
Probation Officer for 4 years and a DA Investigator for 11 years for the County of Merced.
I specialized in
Public Safety Programs, Training and counseling during my tenure at Merced College .
I am currently an
adjunct Counselor at both state prisons in Chowchilla and will retire in early July 3018.

Retired...I was actually employed by the City of Merced as a summer hire in the refuge collection dept in the mid 1960s.
What is your understanding of the roles and responsibilities of this Board or Commission? The Commissioners act in a advisory capacity to the City Council .
Decisions
made are relative to the
disbursement of Measure C funds into the Public Safety arena! Do you have experience or special knowledge pertaining to this Board or Commission? A life time of working in the Public Safety Sector.
Fourteen years as a practioner (Deputy Probation
Officer and Criminal Investigater) and thirty years as a Merced College Professor/Counselor specializing in Public Safety Programs.
Any other comments you would like to add that may assist the City Council in their decision?
I look forward to making a positive contribution to the City of Merced.
