RESOLUTION NO. 2022-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERCED, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR'S
OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES
FY2021 GRANT ASSURANCES AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Merced Fire Department or City of Merced Police Department may be awarded funds through the FY2021 State Homeland Security Grant Program funds sub-granted through the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services Agency (Cal OES); and WHEREAS, the Cal OES requires adoption of a resolution authorizing execution of the FY2021 Grant Assurances Agreement to establish concurrence on the requirements of the grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERCED DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE, FIND, AND
ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Merced hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the Cal OES FY2021 Grant Assurances Agreement, which is required to establish concurrence on the requirements of the grant.
