A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERCED, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE THE OFFICE OF EMERGENCY
SERVICES STATE HOMELAND SECURITY
GRANT PROGRAMS - EQUIPMENT,
PLANNING, ADMINISTRATION, TRAINING
AND EXERCISES AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Merced Fire Department may be awarded funds through the FY2021 State Homeland Security Grant Program funds sub-granted through the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services Agency (Cal OES); and
WHEREAS, Merced County requires adoption of a resolution authorizing execution of the Office of Emergency Services State Homeland Security Grant Programs - Funding for Equipment, Planning, Administration, Training and Exercises Agreement to establish concurrence on the requirements of the grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERCED DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE, FIND, AND
ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Merced hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the Office of Emergency Services State Homeland Security Grant Programs - Funding for Equipment, Planning, Administration, Training and Exercises Agreement, which is required to establish concurrence on the requirements of the grant. ///
