TO THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL/PUBLIC FINANCING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY/PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MERCED AND TO THE CITY CLERK:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special meeting of the City Council/Public Financing and Economic Development Authority/Parking Authority of the City of Merced is hereby called to be held on August 8, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in the Civic Center Council Chamber, Second Floor, 678 W. 18 th Street, Merced, California. The
legislative body shall provide the public with an opportunity to address the body on any item described in the notice [Government Code Section 54954.3(a)]. Comments can be made in person, by voicemail at 209-388-8688, or emailed to [email protected].
Said special meeting shall be for the purpose of conducting a meeting for the following items:
1. SUBJECT: Consideration of Request to Reconsider the Council’s Previous Decision to Reject a Resolution Calling for a General Municipal Election and Presenting to the Voters a Proposed Ballot Measure to Extend the Half-Cent Sales Tax Until Ended By Voters and Requesting Consolidation with the Gubernatorial General Election to be Conducted by the County of Merced
2. SUBJECT: Consideration and Possible Approval of a Resolution Calling for a General Municipal Election and Presenting to the Voters a Proposed Ballot Measure to Known as the Merced Vital City Services Protection Measure to Continue the Half-Cent Sales Tax Until Ended By Voters and Requesting Consolidation with the Gubernatorial General Election on November 8, 2022 to be Conducted by the County of Merced
