RE: Halloween Bingo Bash Co-Sponsored Rates
Good Afternoon,
My name is Gina Thomas, I am Director of Merced County's Living Well Cafe Program, which provides nutritious meals for seniors in our community. We have seven locations throughout Merced County.
We serve anywhere from 80 -100 Meals per day to Seniors 60 and older. We operate Monday- Friday from 9-1.
The reason I would like to have this event co-sponsored, and grandfathered in on the second Saturday of every October is:
This program is run by the Merced Rescue Mission, which is a non-profit organization.
This is a fundraiser and all money earned goes into supporting our program. We are able to purchase arts and crafts, board games, puzzles, and other items to better our program.
Everything we use for the event is donated throughout the community.
We also are able to spend time with our seniors outside of program hours, as well as to give them something to look forward to, a purpose to do something fun and also help them in meeting other seniors from other locations.
We hope you will consider working with us each year.
