FIRST AMENDMENT TO
CONSULTING AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of , 2022, by and between the City of Merced, a California Charter Municipal Corporation ("City"), and Bureau Veritas North America, Inc., a Delaware Corporation ("Consultant").
WHEREAS, City and Consultant have previously entered into a Contract for Consulting and Professional Services ("Contract") dated November 2, 2020; and, WHEREAS, City and Consultant desire to amend said Contract to extend the term of the Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto, in consideration of the mutual covenants hereinafter recited L, agree as follows:
1. Section 19, "EXTENDED TERM," is hereby added to the Contract to read as follows:
"19. EXTENDED TERM. The Extended Term of the
Contract shall be from November 2, 2022 to November
1,2023."
2 Except as herein amended, the Agreement dated November 2, 2020, shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have caused this First Amendment to Contract to be executed on the date first above written.
