A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERCED, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF GRANT
PROPOSAL FOR THE 2022 STATE AND LOCAL
CYBERSECURITY GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Merced desires to participate in the 2022 State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program funded through the Department of Homeland Security and administered by the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (hereafter referred to as the "CalOES").
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERCED
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE, FIND, AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The City Manager is authorized on behalf of the City of Merced to submit the grant proposal for this funding and sign the Grant Agreement with the CalOES, including any amendments thereof.
SECTION 2. The grant funds received hereunder shall not be used to supplant expenditures controlled by this body.
SECTION 3. The City of Merced agrees to ensure all matching funds required for the above grant are provided and abide by the terms and conditions of the Grant Agreement as set forth by the CalOES.
