• The City requests authorization for reimbursement of prior incurred preliminary engineering costs in accordance with Section 1440 of the FAST Act. All Federal requirements for such costs were met. The costs were incurred between 08/13/2020 (the approval date of Amendment 18) and 02/19/2021 and in the amount of $22,641. • Project End Date (PED) established as 03/01/2022 effective SEQ 1 approval. • Final design is not to start until the environmental document {NEPA) is completed.

SEQ 2: PED update from 03/01/2022 to 9/1/23. No funding change/request. *SEQ 2: Extend PED prior to any PED lapses, no funding changes. Effective SEQ 2 approval, the PED is extended from 03/01/22 to 09/01/23 due to delays and complications from Covid restrictions.

Seq #2: The PED is being extended from 03/01/2022 to 09/01/2023 due to delays and complications from COVID-19 restrictions. The PED extension request was submitted by the agency on 01/28/2022 as noted in FADS to Caltrans. Unfortunately, this was missed and didn't get processed. Any costs incurred between the existing PED (i.e. 03/01/2022) approval of E76 Sequence #2 (updated the PED) are to remain federally eligible.

SEQ #3: This project has been ready to request authorization but was delayed since SEQ 2 was pending. OAP approval was on 4/22/22. DBE is 21%. PED did not change from SEQ 2. "Other Attachment 2
