RE: Additional PFAS Sampling at Merced Airport
Monday, July 25, 2022 3: 12:00 PM
Hello Mr. Angulo,
Thanks for reaching out.

Considering that the AOF method is relatively new, I think a six-month extension of the PFAS analysis results can be granted to accommodate the procurement of the appropriate lab service for that method. The new due date for the PFAS sampling and analysis results as required in our June 21, 2022 letter is May 1, 2023. Please note that this extension of due date does not apply to the monitoring for chlorinated solvents at the subject facility as required in MRP RS-2011-0808. The due date for the next Semi-annual Groundwater Monitoring Report for chlorinated solvent monitoring is still November 1, 2022.

Please let me know if you have any questions about the above message. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Helen
