RESOLUTION NO. 2023-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERCED, CALIFORNIA,
GRANTING A CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC
CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY TO
UNIVERSAL PROTECTION SERVICE, LP
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 5.40 of the Merced Municipal Code, Universal Protection Service, LP has applied to the City of Merced for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to operate a private patrol and security service within the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERCED
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE, FIND, AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council declares that the public convenience anc necessity require the proposed private patrol and security service.
SECTION 2. A Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity is hereby granted to Universal Protection Service, LP.
