RESOLUTION NO. 2023-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERCED, CALIFORNIA,
APPOINTING BRIAN L. DOYLE AS INTERIM
CITY ATTORNEY AND APPROVING AN
EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT THEREFORE
INCLUDING COMPENSATION AND OTHER
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERCED DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE, FIND, DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby appoints Brian L. Doyle as the Interim City Attorney of the City of Merced to be effective on June 5, 2023.
SECTION 2. The Interim City Attorney Employment Agreement is hereby approved and shall be effective from June S, 2023 to December 4, 2023, as set forth on Exhibit "A" to this Resolution.
SECTION 3. The publicly adopted Pay Scale is set forth on Exhibit "B" to this Resolution. Said publicly adopted pay scale will be updated and approved by the City Council as necessary to comply with the terms and conditions of the Interim City Attorney Employment Agreement as set forth in the Agreement.
SECTION 4. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the Employment Agreement with Brian L. Doyle to serve as the Interim City Attorney for the City of Merced.
