RESOLUTION NO. 2023-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERCED, CALIFORNIA,
ADOPTING THE SALARY RANGE FOR THE
INTERIM CITY ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, on June 5, 2023, the Merced City Council approved an Employment Agreement with Interim City Attorney Brian Doyle (the "Employment Agreement"); and,
WHEREAS, in order to comply with the Public Employee Retirement Systems (PERS) requirements, the Merced City Council desires to reaffirm and adopt the publicly adopted pay scale for the position of Interim City Attorney.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERCED DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The publicly adopted Pay Scale for Interim City Attorney is set forth on Exhibit "A" to this Resolution. Said publicly adopted pay scale will be updated and approved by the City Council as necessary to comply with the Public Employee Retirement System (PERS) requirements and the terms and conditions of the Interim City Attorney's Employment Agreement as set forth in the Agreement.
