A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERCED, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF GRANT
PROPOSAL FOR TRANSFORMATIVE CLIMATE
COMMUNITIES PLANNING GRANT
WHEREAS, the City of Merced desires to participate in the Transformative Climate Communities Planning Grant funded under the Transformative Climate Communities Program as administered by the Strategic Growth Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERCED
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE, FIND, AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized on behalf of the City of Merced to submit the grant proposal for this funding and sign the Grant Agreement with the Transformative Climate Communities, including any amendments thereof.
SECTION 2. The grant funds received hereunder shall not be used to supplant expenditures controlled by this body.
SECTION 3. The City of Merced agrees to abide by the terms and conditions of the Grant Agreement as set forth by the Transformative Climate Communities Program as administered by the Strategic Growth Council. regular meeting held on the Pressing A ODOPTED by the City Council of the City of Merced at a 2023, by the following
