TO THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL/PUBLIC FINANCING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY/PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MERCED AND TO THE CITY CLERK:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special meeting of the City Council/Public Financing and Economic Development Authority/Parking Authority of the City of Merced is hereby called to be held on Monday, July 24, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. in the Civic Center Council Chamber, Second Floor, 678 W. 18th Street, Merced, California.
Council Member Shane Smith will be teleconferencing from Bally’s Lake Tahoe Business Center, First Floor, located at 55 Highway 50, Stateline, Nevada 89449. The legislative body shall provide the public with an opportunity to address the body on any item described in the notice [Government Code Section 54954.3(a)].

Said special meeting shall be for the purpose of conducting a meeting for the following items:
1. SUBJECT: Adoption of a Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Submit a Grant Application to the California Strategic Growth Council to Fund the Transformative Climate Communities Program Planning Grant
2. SUBJECT: PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT - Title: City Attorney; Authority: Government Code Section 54957.
