FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of _.. by and between the City of Merced, a California Charter Municipal Corporation ("City"), and Precision Civil Engineering, Inc., a California Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Consultant"), whose address of record is 1234 O Street, Fresno, California 93721.
WHEREAS, the City is undertaking a project to create a Tiny Homes Ordinance and various Zoning Code updates; and,
WHEREAS, the City and Consultant have previously entered into an Agreement for Professional Services ("Agreement") dated November 7th, 2022; and,
WHEREAS, the City and Consultant desire to amend said Agreement to provide for additional time in connection with said project, following the LEAP grant extension.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto, in consideration of the mutual covenants hereinafter recited, agree as follows:
Section 3, "TERM OF AGREEMANT," of the Agreement is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 3. TERM OF AGREEMENT. The term of
this Agreement shall commence upon November 7, 2022,
and end on December 31, 2024."
2. Except as herein amended, the Agreement dated November 7, 2022, shall remain in full force and effect.
