Chair HAY called the Special Meeting of the Arts and Culture Advisory Commission to order at 4:08PM.

Subcommittee to present artist and design recommendations to the ACAC for seven projects funded by the Heartland Grant.

RECOMMENDATION
Arts and Culture Advisory Commission - Adopt a motion approving the subcommittee's recommendations for City Council's consideration and approval at the December 18th City Council meeting.
Chair HAY discussed the subcommittee's artist application review process, the ranking criteria, and who they chose to make a recommendation to Council for the Heartland Art Project.
A motion was made by Member Thompson, seconded by Member Del Zaragoza, to make a recommendation to Council to award the Heartland Art Project grant to Patricia Pratt, Karen McComb, Joel Aguilar, and Kristen Concepcion. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 4- Vice Chair Dennis, Member Del Zaragoza, Member Thompson, and Chair Hay No: 0
Excused: 2 - Member Hypes, and Member Rocha-Tabera
Absent: 1 - Member Tran
