A. CALL TO ORDER
Chair PIUSER called the Regular Meeting to order at 6:02 PM.
B. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Chair PIUSER led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
C. ROLL CALL
Deputy City Manager Frank QUINTERO introduced the new City Manager.
City Manager Scott MCBRIDE thanked Commissioners for attending and briefly spoke on the City.
Present: 5 - Chair Douglas Piuser, Member Michael Harris, Member Alison Kostecky, Member Anthony Aldana, and Member Matthew Michael
Absent: 2 - Member Alane Quien, and Member Cristina Garcia D. PUBLIC COMMENT
There was no public comment.

RECOMMENDATION
Adopt a motion approving and filing Tax Transparency Commission Minutes of August 8, 2023.

F.1. SUBJECT: Measure C Revenue and Expense Reports - September 30, 2023
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt a motion accepting as information only.
Finance Officer Venus RODRIGUEZ gave a slideshow presentation on the Measure C revenue and expense reports for September 30, 2023.
Commissioners and Mrs. RODRIGUEZ discussed the revenue of restaurants and hotels.
A motion was made by Member Harris, seconded by Member Michael, that this agenda item be approved. The motion carried by the following vote:

Absent: 2 - Member Quien, and Member Garcia
F.2. SUBJECT: Measure Y Revenue and Expense Reports - September 30, 2023
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt a motion accepting as information only.
Finance Officer Venus RODRIGUEZ gave a slideshow presentation on the Measure Y revenue and expense reports for September 30, 2023.
Commissioners and Mrs. RODRIGUEZ discussed potentially purchasing items for Police department with additional funds of Measure C and Measure Y and the revenue in the past year.

G.1. SUBJECT: Request to Add Item to Future Agenda
REPORT IN BRIEF
Provides members of the Boards/Commissions to request that an item be placed on a future Boards/Commissions agenda for initial consideration by the Boards/Commissions.
Commissioner HARRIS requested to see the available funding in Measure C and Measure Y.
G.2. SUBJECT: Commission Comments
REPORT IN BRIEF
Provides an opportunity for the Chair and/or Member(s) to make a brief announcement on any activity(ies) she/he has attended on behalf of the Commssion and to make a brief announcement on future community events and/or activities. The Brown Act does not allow discussion or action by the legislative body under this section.
Commissioner HARRIS stated he would like to invite the Committee for Measure C come to the meeting as guest speakers or citizens.
Deputy City Manager Frank QUINTERO stated he will inform the City Attorney of the request.
