FIRST AMENDMENT TO
LEGAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO LEGAL SERVICES AGREEMENT is
made and entered into this _day of _, 2024, by and between the City of Merced, a California Charter Municipal Corporation ("City"), and Richards, Watson & Gershon, ("RWG").
WHEREAS, City and RWG have previously entered into a Legal Services Agreement ("Agreement") dated February 20, 2024, for a total not to exceed sum of $125,000; and,
WHEREAS, City and Law Firm desire to amend said Agreement to provide for $70,000 of additional compensation.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto, in consideration of the mutual covenants hereinafter recited, agree as follows:
The Agreement dated February 20, 2024, between the City and RWG shall be amended by increasing the not-to-exceed contracted amount from $125,000 to $195,000.
