A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERCED, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE THE OFFICE OF EMERGENCY
SERVICES STATE HOMELAND SECURITY
GRANT PROGRAMS - EQUIPMENT, PLANNING,
ADMINISTRATION, TRAINING AND EXERCISES
AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Merced Fire Department may be awarded funds through the FY2023 State Homeland Security Grant Program funds sub-granted through the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services Agency (Cal OES; and,
WHEREAS, Merced County requires adoption of a resolution authorizing execution of the Office of Emergency Services State Homeland Security Grant Programs - Funding for Equipment, Planning, Administration, Training and Exercises Agreement to establish concurrence on the requirements of the grant.;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERCED
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE, FIND, AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Merced hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the Office of Emergency Services State Homeland Security Grant Programs - Funding for Equipment, Planning, Administration, Training and Exercises Agreement, which is required to establish concurrence on the requirements of the grant.
