FIRST AMENDMENT TO SERVICES AGREEMENT
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is made and entered into this _ day of _ , 20 _, by and between the City of Merced, a California Charter Municipal Corporation ("Contractor"), and United Way of Merced County, a nonprofit public corporation, ("Administering Organization").
WHEREAS, Contractor is undertaking a project to conduct city beautification through an art project and,
WHEREAS, Contractor and Administering Organization have previously entered into an Memorandum of Agreement ("Agreement") dated February 18, 2023; and,
WHEREAS, Contractor and Administering Organization desire to amend said Agreement to provide for additional services in connection with said project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto, in consideration of the mutual covenants hereinafter recited, agree as follows:
Section 2, Exhibit A, "ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION," is hereby added to the Agreement to contain the following language:
The Administering Organization shall award the
Contractor the not to exceed additional sum of Nine
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($9,500.00).
3. Except as herein amended, the Agreement dated October 10, 2023, shall remain in full force and effect.
