FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR
SPECIAL SERVICES
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is made and entered into Califormla hafter Municipal Corporaly and bety a the Citer Necy Whitmore, _, 2024, by and between the City of Merced, a a Professional Corporation, ("Attorney").
WHEREAS, City is in need of special legal services for labor relations consulting, labor contract negotiations and employee related matters; and, WHEREAS, City and Attorney have previously entered into an Agreement for Special Services ("Agreement") dated September 7, 2023; and, WHEREAS, City and Attorney desire to amend said Agreement by increasing the not-to-exceed contracted amount from $100,000 to $250,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto, in consideration of the mutual covenants hereinafter recited, agree as follows:
The Agreement dated September 7, 2023, between the City and Attorney shall be amended by increasing the not-to-exceed contracted amount from $100,000 to $250,000, in accordance with the current hourly rates attached hereto as Exhibit 1.
Except as herein amended, the Agreement dated September 7, 2023, shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have caused this First Amendment to Agreement to be executed on the date first above written.
