3 AWARD OF
CONTRACT: The City
reserves the right after
opening bids to reject any
or all bids, to waive any
informality (non-respon-
siveness) in a bid, or to
make award to. the lowest
responsive, responsible
bidder (as determined per
the Instructions to Bid-
ders) and reject all other
bids, as it may best serve
the interest of the City.
As a condition of award,
the successful bidder
shall furnish a payment
bond and a performance
bond on the City’s forms
each in the full amount of
the contract price. The
successful bidder will
also be required to sub-
mit proof of insurance for
work involved. N-4 BID
SECURITY: Each bid
shall be accompanied by
a certified or cashier’s
check or Bid Bond in the
amount of 10 percent of
the total bid price, pay-
able to the City of
Merced. |
