A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERCED, CALIFORNIA,
GRANTING A CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC
CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY TO EDN
GROUP (DBA EDN PRIVATE PATROL)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 5.40 of the Merced Municipal Code, EDN Group (DBA EDN Private Patrol) has applied to the City of Merced for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to operate a private patrol and security service within the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERCED
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE, FIND, AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council declares that the public convenience and necessity require the proposed private patrol and security service.
SECTION 2. That a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity is hereby granted to EDN Group (DBA EDN Private Patrol).
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Merced at a regular meeting held on the 6th day of January, 2025, by the following vote:
