Chair PIUSER called the Regular Meeting to order at 6:03 PM.

Chair PIUSER led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

RECOMMENDATION
Tax Transparency Commission - Adopt a motion approving and filing Tax Transparency Commission Minutes of August 13, 2024.
Commissioner JOHNSON requested to remove middle name from future Minutes.
A motion was made by Member Harris, seconded by Member Kostecky, that this agenda item be approved. The motion carried by the following vote:

RECOMMENDATION
Tax Transparency Commission - Adopt a motion accepting as information only and/or providing staff with direction as a recommendation to Council.
Finance Officer Venus RODRIGUEZ gave a slideshow presentation on the Measure C revenue and expense reports for September 30, 2024.
Clerk's Note: There was no Commissioner discussion.

Commissioners and Mrs. RODRIGUEZ discussed the trends for amounts and the split of funds between departments.

Updates on the City's street projects.
RECOMMENDATION
Information Only.
City Manager Scott MCBRIDE gave an update on street projects.
Commissioners, Mr. MCBRIDE, and Director of Parks and Community Services Christopher JENSEN spoke on the Community Park-42 project timeline, lighting in parks, the replacement of street lights, traffic signal operation, details of the term "design" , Measure C adjustments for projects, and details of the One-Way Directional project on Main Street.

G. BUSINESS
G.1. Recognition of Outgoing Commissioner
Deputy City Clerk Alejandra MEDINA briefly discussed Commissioner HARRIS' terms.
City Manager Scott MCBRIDE presented a Certificate of Recognition to Commissioner HARRIS.
Mr. HARRIS spoke on his time serving in the Tax Transparency Commission.
G.2. SUBJECT: Selection of a New Chair and Vice Chair
REPORT IN BRIEF
Yearly selection of a Chair and Vice Chair.
RECOMMENDATION
Nominate and appoint a Commission Member as Chair and Vice Chair.
Commissioners and Deputy City Clerk Alejandra MEDINA discussed end terms for Commissioners.
Clerk's Note: Commissioner HARRIS made a motion to nominate Commissioner GARCIA as Chair and Commissioner KOSTECKY as Vice Chair.
Commissioners agreed to vote on the Vice Chair seat at this meeting.

Clerk's Note: Mr. HARRIS amended his motion to only nominate Commissioner KOSTECKY as Vice Chair.

G.3. SUBJECT: Request to Add Item to Future Agenda
