FIRST AMENDMENT TO
CONSULTING AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of → 2025, by and between the City of Merced, a California Charter Municipal Corporation ("City"), and Bureau Veritas North America, Inc., a Delaware Corporation ("Consultant").
WHEREAS, City and Consultant have previously entered into a Contract for Consulting and Professional Services ("Contract") dated October 17, 2023; and, WHEREAS, City and Consultant desire to amend said Contract to extend the term of the Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto, in consideration of the mutual covenants hereinafter recited, agree as follows:
1. Section 19, "EXTENDED TERM," is hereby added to the Contract to read as follows:
The Extended Term of the Contract shall be from
October 17, 2025 to October 16, 2026.
Except as herein amended, the Agreement dated October 17, 2023, shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have caused this First Amendment to Contract to be executed on the date first above written.
