RESOLUTION NO. 2025-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERCED, CALIFORNIA,
ADOPTING THE SALARY RANGE FOR THE
CRIME ANALYST I AND CRIME ANALYST II
POSITIONS WITHIN THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, City staff regularly evaluates the Classification Plan to ensure positions and salary ranges remain accurate and consistent with organizational needs; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department has identified an opportunity to enhance services to the community by creating a new Crime Analyst II job specification.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERCED DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE, DETERMINE, FIND, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Classification Plan of the City of Merced is hereby amended by updating the personnel allocation in the Police Department by changing the classification title of Crime Analyst to Crime Analyst I and Crime Analyst Il at the salary ranges as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
SECTION 2. That the Classification Plan of the City of Merced is hereby amended by adding the job specifications for the position of Crime Analyst I. The job description for the Crime Analyst I shall be as set forth in Exhibit "B" attached hereto.
SECTION 3. That the Classification Plan of the City of Merced is hereby amended by adding the job specifications for the position of Crime Analyst I. The job description for the Crime Analyst II shall be as set forth in Exhibit "C" attached hereto.
SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall be effective upon adoption. / / /
