29 Conclusions
30 Potential Measure Viability
• A one-cent, general-purpose sales tax measure currently enjoys solid majority support (63%) from a November 2026 electorate.
• Many individual investment areas resonated strongly, including addressing homelessness, responding to emergencies, preventing gang activity, fixing potholes, and maintaining the City’s quality of life. • Taken together, a measure does appear potentially viable in this point in time. • Special-purpose measures funding only public safety or only parks are well below their two-thirds requirement thresholds.
