A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERCED, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING PARKS AND COMMUNITY
SERVICES PROGRAM AND SERVICE FEES
WHEREAS, the City of Merced's Parks and Community Services Department's operational budget is supplemented by several revenue sources, including community services program and service fees; and WHEREAS, Parks and Community Services Community Services Program and Service Fees are intended to cover the cost of managing, operating and maintaining recreational venues that are reservable for private and community Ments and
WHEREAS, there is a need to set or adjust Community Services Program and Service Fees for the following recreational venues: Bob Hart Square and the Merced Open Air Theater, Fahrens Park Disc Golf Course and Merced Regional WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was scheduled for June 15, 2026 and continued to July 6, 2026.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERCED DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE, DETERMINE, FIND, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That having been considered by the City Council following a continued public hearing on July 6, 2026, and based on the report prepared by the Director of Parks and Community Services, the City Council hereby establish the Parks and Recreation Program and Service Fees identified on Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
SECTION 2. That the Parks and Community Services Program and Service Fees established herein shall take effect immediately and remain in effect until next reviewed and revised by the City Council.

Merced Regional Sports Complex
Schedule- Fields will prioritze local Rec, local Clubs, and Tournaments. Field use will include 9 month use calendar with resting from December -February. Fields will support P&CS Mon-Thursday, Soccer and Football games Saturdays/ Sundays and Tournaments one Weekend per Month. Rest of complex is useable weekly uniess full facility tournament rental is scheduled.
