4 X The area to be vacated is 80 feet wide and generally located between Main (17th) Street and West 16th Street.
X The subject site has a General Plan Designation of Regional Community Commercial (RC) and Zoning of Central Commercial (C-C).
X The easement was the southern portion of Canal (L) Street and is now the expansion of Bob Hart Plaza.
X A Site Plan Review 26-0021 was approved on April 2, 2026, to allow the recreational use for the community.
X There is a loss of a total of 9 parking spaces.

Commission reviewed this Vacation request, and found that it does not conflict with the City’s General Plan policies, text, maps, and is therefore consistent with the General Plan.
X On August 17, 2026, City Council adopted Resolution
No. 2026-57 a resolution of intention and set October 5, 2026, as the date for the public to consider Vacation #25-0001.
