Mayor Ann Schneider called the meeting to order at 12:01 a.m.
ROLL CALL: Mayor Ann Schneider, Vice Mayor Goodman, Councilmembers Angelina Cahalan and Anders Fung.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE U.S. FLAG

The Millbrae City Council acknowledges that we occupy the unceded ancestral, traditional, and contemporary homeland of the Ramaytush Ohlone peoples, who are the original inhabitants of the San Francisco Peninsula. We wish to pay our respects to the Ancestors and Relatives of the Ramaylush Community and to affirm their sovereign rights as First Peoples. We recognize that the Ramaytush Ohlone have lived in harmony with nature for millennia. and that to achieve a truly ecologically sustainable future for Millbrae, we must embrace Indigenous traditional ecological knowledge in how we care for the city's lands, waters, and all its people. We will continue to uplift and foster a meaningful relationship with the Ramayfush Oblone community, and we encourage all to visit www.ramaytush.org to learn more about the Ramaytush Ohlone people.

1. Cancellation of Regularly Scheduled City Council Meeting of December 26, 2023 - ACTION Motion by Cahalan/Fung to approve the Consent Calendar. Motion carried 4-0 by roll call vote.

2. Accept Environmental Justice Solutions Community Committee on Social Equity & Cultural Inclusion Report - ACTION
Consultant Environmental Justice Solutions Principal and Project Lead Marybelle Negwu Tobias presented the report.

Motion by Papan/Goodman to accept the Environmental Justice Solutions Community Committee on Socia Equity & Cultural Inclusion Report with two amendments: I) revision to the sentence to read "th Community Committee will make recommendations for the City Council's adoption"; and 2) community anchors comments shall be in writing and must be available to the public. Motion carried 5-0 by roll call vote.

There being no further business to discuss, the City Council adjourned at 1:41 p.m. in memory of Brisbane resident Peter Grace.
