Mayor Reuben D. Holober called the meeting to order at 6:03 p.m.
ROLL CALL: Mayor Reuben D. Holober and Councilmembers Sissy Riley, Bob Nguyen, and Anders Fung were present in the Council Chamber. Vice Mayor Stephen Rainaldi participated remotely from the satellite meeting
LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The Millbrae City Council acknowledges that we occupy the unceded ancestral, traditional, and contemporary homeland of the Ramaytush Ohlone peoples, who are the original inhabitants of the San Francisco Peninsula. We wish to pay our respects to the Ancestors and Relatives of the Ramaytush Community and to affirm their sovereign rights as First Peoples. We recognize that the Ramaytush Ohlone have lived in harmony with nature for millennia, and that to achieve a truly ecologically sustainable future for Millbrae, we must embrace Indigenous traditional ecological knowledge in how we care for the city's lands, waters, and all its people. We will continue to uplift and foster a meaningful relationship with the Ramaytush Ohlone community, and we encourage all to visit www.ramaytush.org to learn more about the Ramaytush Ohlone people.
PLANNING COMMISSION INTERVIEWS Video Time: 02:57
There is a vacancy on the Planning Commission for a continuous term consisting of the remainder of the current term ending June 30, 2026, followed by a full four-year term ending June 30, 2030.
Mayor Reuben D. Holober provided an overview of the interview process. Two candidates were interviewed:
• Amin Zareian
• Terrence Ngu
Appointment to the Planning Commission will be considered at the 7:00 p.m. regular City Council meeting.
