COMMITTEE MEETING ROOM (1ST FLOOR) MILPITAS CITY HALL
The City Council of the City of Milpitas convened for a Special City Council meeting on July 7, 2022, at 10:45 a.m. in person in the Committee Meeting Room at City Hall, 455 E. Calaveras Blvd., Milpitas.
CALL MEETING TO ORDER by Mayor and ROLL CALL by City Clerk Councilmember Phan called the Special City Council meeting to order at 10:59 AM. Roll Call was taken by City Clerk Wood.
PRESENT: Councilmembers Chua, Dominguez, and Phan
ABSENT: Mayor Tran and Vice Mayor Montano,
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by City Manager McHarris.
AGENDA ITEMS
1. Federal Community Project Funding Request: Carbon Neutral Homes Incentive Program City Manager McHarris introduced the item.
Deputy Public Work Director Marshall and a representative from Silicon Valley Clean Energy gave a presentation on the proposed Carbon Neutral Home Incentives Program.
Congressman Ro Khanna commented on the Program and stated the $3 million funding request submitted by the City of Milpitas has been accepted by the House of Appropriations and is waiting for Congress approval.

ADJOURNMENT
Councilmember Phan adjourned the meeting at 11:39 AM.
