The City Council of the City of Milpitas convened in a Special Meeting of the Militas City Council on January 26, 2023, in the Korbell Room at Sonesta San Jose-Milpitas Hotel, 2nd Floor, 777 Bellew Drive, Milpitas, CA.
WELCOME AND CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Montano called the Special City Council meeting to order at 9:00 AM.
PRESENT: Mayor Montano, Vice Mayor Chua, Councilmembers Barbadillo (9:05 AM), and Lien, and Phan (9:15 AM).
ABSENT: None.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Montano led the Pledge of Allegiance.
PUBLIC FORUM
There were no public speakers.
READING OF THE CITY COUNCIL CODE OF CONDUCT
Mayor Montano read the Code of Conduct.
RETREAT
Councilmembers met together with the staff and consultant to discuss working relationships, meeting management and City Council goals.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Montano adjourned the meeting at 1:44 PM.
