The City Council of the City of Milpitas convened in a Special Meeting of the Militas City Council on August 26, 2025, in the Sonesta San Jose-Milpitas, Krystall B Room, 777 Bellew Dr, Milpitas, CA.
CALL MEETING TO ORDER by Mayor and ROLL CALL by City Clerk Mayor Montano called the Regular City Council meeting to order at 1:14 PM. Roll Call was taken by City Clerk Guzzetta.
PRESENT: Mayor Montano, Vice Mayor Barbadillo, Councilmember Chua, Councilmember Lam, Councilmember Lien
ABSENT: None.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The City Council recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
PUBLIC FORUM
There were no public speakers.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST AND CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS Interim City Manager Santana asked the Mayor and City Councilmembers if they had any personal conflicts of interest. By roll call, there were no conflicts of interest. Interim City Manager then asked the Mayor and City Councilmembers if they had any reportable campaign contributions. By roll call, there were no reportable campaign contributions.
READING OF THE CITY COUNCIL CODE OF CONDUCT
The City Council Code of Conduct was read aloud.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
After discussion, motion: to approve the agenda.

ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION
Interim City Manager Santana briefed the City Council on the Closed Session items. The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 2:02 PM.
