Arthur Fabela spoke in support of a stadium at the former Modesto golf course, highlighting the site's history and West Modesto's role in hosting community events.
He proposed a fairground instead of residential development to preserve local culture, including graffiti shows and fireworks, and suggested a riverwalk and entertainment district near the river. He acknowledged upcoming city workshops on the issue. Loretta Carhart raised concerns about poorly maintained sidewalks in Modesto, particularly near Graceada Park, and asked for clarification on whether the city or property owners are responsible. She also reminded everyone about upcoming Veterans Day and Mother’s Day.
