 Tim Ragsdale expressed concerns regarding the increased use of e-bikes and escooters in parks and on trailways, particularly along the Virginia Corridor. He referenced injury statistics dating back to 2017 to highlight the growing safety risks associated with their use. The speaker noted that some e-bike riders may engage in unsafe behaviors, including riding without helmets, operating under the influence, speeding, and occasional collisions with pedestrians.
