Item No. 3, was not discussed and will be moved to a future meeting; Item No. 4 was not discussed and will be moved to a future meeting. Item No. 5, included two matters. For the first matter a briefing was provided to the City Council, no action was taken, and nothing further to report. The second matter was a complaint by an employee against Councilmember Jimenez; Councilmember Jimenez was requested to recuse herself, and she chose not to leave the room. The findings are as follows: The credible evidence produced during this investigation is sufficient to support the allegations that Councilmember Jimenez engaged in unnecessary and inappropriate conduct toward the employee on March 6, 2024, by showing up at his office without notice or appointment, aggressively confronting him and demanding that he discuss confidential personnel information that she was not authorized, and by not peacefully allowing the employee back into his office, as requested several times, so he could retrieve his personal belongings and leave to a scheduled appointment.

These findings were sustained. Also further, the City Council has directed the City Attorney's office and Special Counsel to release the findings in the Final Investigative Report and Executive Summary with no further action and nothing further to report.
