The City Council of the City of Monterey Park held a Special Community Meeting of the Council at Banh Mi Che Cali BMC Pho Restaurant located at 745 E. Garvey Ave., Monterey Park 91755 on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 5:30 p.m.
1. Call to Order
City Manager Alvarez called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
2. Roll Call
City Manager Alvarez called the roll:
Council Members Present: Vinh Ngo, Thomas Wong arrived at 6:20 p.m.
Council Members Absent: Jose Sanchez, Henry Lo, Elizabeth Yang
Also Present: City Manager Inez Alvarez, Assistant City Manager Diana Garcia, Director of Recreation and Community Services Robert Aguirre, Interim Director of Community Development Phillip Lanzafame, Director of Finance Martha Garcia, Economic Development Manager Joseph Torres, Finance Manager Laura Borjon, Economic Development Specialist Janice Huang
