TO THE MEMBERS OF THE TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC WORKS STANDING COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Regular Meeting of the Transportation and Public Works Standing Committee is hereby called to be held on Monday, February 5, 2024, commencing at 5:45 p.m. Said meeting will be held in the Large Conference Room at City Hall, 799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark California.
Said Special Meeting shall be for the purpose of considering the following items:

A. Traffic Safety on Second Street and Millard Street
Regular Transportation and Public Works Standing Committee February 5, 2024 Regular Meeting Annotated Agenda
Purpose: Continued discussion regarding traffic safety concerns on Second Street and Millard Street. (Verbal Presentation, No Staff Report) (Staff: Daniel Kim, Sgt. David Anaya)
Daniel Kim, City Engineer/Public Works Director, presented an update regarding current traffic safety concerns on Second Street and Millard Street. The discussion included prioritizing staff to evaluate a traffic calming implementation policy, specifically for the residential neighborhood that is bound by Los Angeles Avenue, Moorpark Avenue, and Spring Road.
B. Street Name Sign Design Project
Purpose: Discuss and receive recommendation on design selection for City street name signs. (Verbal Presentation, No Staff Report) (Staff: Michelle Woomer) Item was tabled for discussion for a future meeting. Meeting date has not been determined.
