NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Moorpark is hereby called to be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, commencing at 6:30 p.m. Said meeting will convene in the Moorpark Community Center located at 799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark, California.
Pursuant to Government Code § 54953(b), this meeting will include a teleconference location at: 1411 Meziere Sky Drive, Wiley, Texas, 75098. The public shall have the opportunity to address the City Council at this teleconferencing location pursuant to Government Code § 54954.3. All votes during the teleconferencing session will be conducted by roll call vote. The teleconference location is accessible to the public and the agenda will be posted at the teleconference location 24 hours before the meeting.

Consider Resolution Appointing Candidates to the Offices of City Council District 2, City Council District 4, and Mayor and Canceling the General Municipal Election to be Held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for the Election of Certain Officers and Rescinding Resolution No. 2024-4252. Staff Recommendation: 1) Consider adoption of Resolution No. 2024-4266 appointing candidates to the Offices of City Council District 2, City Council District 4, and Mayor and canceling the General Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for the election of certain officers and rescinding Resolution No. 2024-4252 or 2) Take no action and direct the City Clerk to proceed with the November 5, 2024, General Municipal Election.
