THIS MEETING WAS CONDUCTED PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54953 (AS AMENDED BY AB 361), WHICH AUTHORIZED
TELECONFERENCED MEETINGS UNDER THE BROWN ACT, DURING CERTAI PROCLAIMED STATES OF EMERGENCY. THE GOVERNOR OF CALIFORNIA PROCLAIMED A STATE OF EMERGENCY RELATED TO COVID-19 ON MARCH 4, 2020.
THIS TELECONFERENCED MEETING WAS NECESSARY SO THAT THE TOWN COULD
CONDUCT ESSENTIAL BUSINESS AND WAS PERMITTED UNDER GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54953 IN ORDER TO PROTECT PUBLIC HEALTH AND THE SAFETY OF ATTENDEES.

1. CALL TO ORDER
The special meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mayor Renata Sos.

Councilmembers present: Mayor Renata • Sos, Vice Mayor Steve Woehleke and Councilmembers Sona Makker, Mike McCluer and Teresa Onoda Councilmembers absent: None

There were no comments from the public.
ADOPTION OF MEETING AGENDA
ACTION: It was M/S (Onoda/Woehleke) to adopt the meeting agenda. Vote: 5-0.
4. ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS AND REQUESTS FOR ACTION
Town Council Special Meeting Minutes 1 February 16,2022 A. Interview of Applicants for the Art in Public Spaces Committee, Park and Recreation Commission and Planning Commission
The Town Council interviewed the following applicants: Holly Hartz for the Art in Public Spaces Committee; Kim Kennedy for the Park and Recreation Commission; and Nicholas Polsky for the Planning Commission.
B. Selection, Appointment and Re-Appointment of Applicants to the Art in Public Spaces Committee, Local Sales Tax Oversight Committee, Park and Recreation Commission and Planning Commission
The Town Council discussed their selections and: appointed Holly Hartz to the Art in Public Spaces Committee; re-appointed Larry Rosenberg to the Local Sales Tax Oversight Committee; re- appointed Graham Thiel and Ben Helber and appointed Nicholas Polsky to the Planning Commission; and re-appointed Ashley Hemkin and Tom Shephard and appointed Kim Kennedy to the Park and Recreation Commission.
ACTION: It was M/S (Onoda/McCluer) to appoint Holly Hartz to the Art in Public Spaces Committee to serve a two-year term of office until March, 2024. Vote: 5-0.
ACTION: It was M/S (McCluer/Onoda) to re-appoint Larry Rosenberg to the Local Sales Tax Oversight Committee to serve a two-year term of office until March, 2024. Vote: 5-0. appoint Nicholas olsky tehe Planning Commission Save To ander ole and March, 2024. Vote: 5-0.
