CALL TO ORDER
The special meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Mayor Renata M. Sos.
ROLL CALL
Councilmembers present: Mayor Renata Sos, Vice Mayor Teresa Onoda and Councilmembers Kerry Hillis, David Shapiro and Steve Woehleke Councilmembers absent: None
2. PUBLIC COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS
There were no comments from the public.
3. ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS AND REQUESTS FOR ACTION
a. Interview and Consideration of Applicants for the Local Sales Tax Oversight Committee and Contra Costa County Library Commission Applications Received for all Committees and Commissions The Town Council interviewed all the new applicants.
Selection and Appointment of Applicants to the Local Sales Tax Oversight Committee and Contra Costa County Library Commissior The Town Council discussed their recommendations to appoint the new applicants for the terms of office respective to their Commission/Committee.
ACTION:
Motion: Onoda / Second: Woehleke
Tim Staines - Local Sales Tax Oversight Committee (Three-year term ending March 1, 2026).
Vote: (5-0)

Motion: Onoda / Second: Hillis
Emily Bergfeld as primary member and Amenda Kung as alternate member for the Contra Costa County Library Commission (appointment is for the remainder of the open term (until June 2024) and for an additional term (until June 2028).
Vote: (5-0)
