1. CALL TO ORDER
The special meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Mayor Renata Sos.

Councilmembers present: Mayor Renata Sos, Vice Mayor Teresa Onoda and Councilmembers Kerry Hillis, David Shapiro and Steve Woehleke Councilmembers absent: None

ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS AND REQUESTS FOR ACTION
Interview and Consideration of Applicants for the Local Sales Tax Oversight Committee and the Art in Public Spaces Committee
The Town Council interviewed Gian Panetta for the Local Sales Tax Oversight Committee (LSTOC) and Julie Stagg for the Art in Public Spaces Committee.
Selection and Appointment of Applicants to the Local Sales Tax Oversight Committee and the Art in Public Spaces Committee
The Council determined it could not appoint Mr. Panetta to the LSTOC since he was not a resident of Moraga as required by the LSTOC Charter. The Town Council appointed both Julie Stagg and Elyse Marr to the Art in Public Spaces Committee for a three-year term; however, in order to make room for the appointments, Vice Mayor Onoda agreed to give up her seat as a voting member of the Art in Public Spaces Committee but would remain deeply involved. The Town Council agreed to create a Town Council liaison to the Art in Public Spaces Committee with Vice Mayor Onoda to serve as the liaison for the remainder of the year, with the liaison to be added to the list of Town Council committees/commissions.

ACTION:
Motion: Woehleke / Second: Hillis
Create a Town Council Liaison to the Art in Public Spaces Committee and appoint Teresa Onoda as the liaison for the remainder of the year, with staff instructed to return to the Town Council with a proposed amendment to the Art in Public Spaces Committee Charter that along with other things increased the number of members from seven to nine and made other recommended improvements.
Vote: 5-0
