CALL TO ORDER
The special meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Mayor Teresa Onoda.
ROLL CALL
Councilmembers present: Mayor Teresa Onoda, Vice Mayor Steve Woehleke and Councilmembers Kerry Hillis and David Shapiro
Councilmembers absent: Councilmember Renata Sos
2. PUBLIC COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS
There were no comments from the public.
3. SPECIAL MEETING - OPEN SESSION
A. Consider and Appoint applicants for the following Committees/Commissions:
1. Local Sales Tax Oversight Committee (1 Moraga Community Member)
2. Planning Commission (1 Moraga Community Member)
Prior to the interviews, Town Council discussed interview logistics.
Town Council held interviews and appointed the following individuals via motion.
Local Sales Tax Oversight Committee (1 Moraga Community Member) Scott Parker (term ending March 1, 2027)
Planning Commission (1 Moraga Community Member)
Graham Thiel (term ending March 1, 2026)
ACTION:
Motion: Hillis / Woehleke
Dismiss with appreciation and thanks, Arica Gately and Gian Panetta as Planning Commission candidates and select from 2d round of interviews.
Vote: (3 in favor / 1 abstention / 1 absent)
ACTION:
Motion: Woehleke / Shapiro
Appoint Scott Parker to the Local Sales Tax Oversight Committee.
Vote: (4 in favor / 1 absent)
Town Council Regular Meeting Minutes 1 February 21, 2024 ACTION:
Motion: Shapiro / Hillis
Appoint Graham Thiel to the Planning Commission.
Vote: (4 in favor / 1 absent)

Mayor Onoda adjourned the meeting at 6:40 p.m.
