1. CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting was called to order at 6:32 p.m. by Mayor Teresa Onoda.
2. ROLL CALL

3. PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS
There were no public comments provided.
4. SPECIAL MEETING - STUDY SESSION
A. Draft Moraga 2040 General Plan Goals and Policies
Review the Draft Moraga 2040 Goals and Policies (all elements) and provide feedback to staff prior to formal publication of the Adoption Draft in October.

Joint TC/PC Study Session 1 September 11, 2024
CEQA: A Study Session is not considered a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15378. Further, the Final Environmental Impact Report for the Comprehensive Advanced Planning Initiative was certified by Town Council on January 25, 2023 - State Clearinghouse No 2022020106. An Addendum to the EIR covering the 2040 General Plan is underway and will be available at the time the Adoption Draft is published.
Staff member, Afshan Hamid and Consultant, Barry Miller presented the item.
Ruth Baxter and Adam Williams provided public comment.
Council and Commissioners asked clarifying questions and provided feedback.
ACTION:
Council and Commissioners received the item, no formal action was requested.
5. ADJOURNMENT IN MEMORIAM of community members, first responders, and members of the armed forces who lost their lives in the tragic attack on the United States that took place on September 11, 2001. We honor their legacy on this, Patriot Day.
Mayor Onoda adjourned the Town Council/Planning Commission Joint Study Session at 8:29 PM.
