Recommendation(s)
That the City Council:
1. Approve correction to the 2025 Council Committee Participation Assignments to add SCAG Regional Council.
SUMMARY
At the January 7, 2025 Council meeting, Council approved the annual appointment of City Council representatives to the Council Advisory Commissi ons/Boards, Council Subcommittees, and Regional Inter -Agency Bodies (Council Committee Participation Assignments).
In March 2025, Mayor Cabrera was officially selected as the Southern California

Association of Governments (SCAG) Regional Council District #69 (Moreno Valley & Perris) Representative through a SCAG election process. His two-year term officially began in May 2025, serving through May 2027.
In review of the Council Committee Participation Assignments, SCAG was never included as the Regional Council District #69 has not had a Moreno Valley elected incumbent.
The action tonight includes SCAG as an Inter -Agency en tity to provide additional transparency of the assignments.
DISCUSSION

ALTERNATIVES
1. Approve the recommended revisions regarding Annual Attendance Reports. Staff recommend this alternative.
2. Do not approve the recommended amendments regarding Annual Reports Staff does not recommend this alternative.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact associated with these proposed amendments.
