I wish to serve on this Committee so that I can continue to represent my community and ensure that their voices are heard.

I am studying Political Science at Moreno Valley College while also enrolled in high school. I have completed Ethics Training. I am skilled in Leadership, and I have led the Committee since 2022.
Explain briefly your understanding of what this Committee does, including its powers and limitations.
This committee is in charge of making recommendations to the city council regarding the Committees jurisdiction. It has no authority-making power, it is solely an advisory committee What do you hope to accomplish by your participation?
I hope to accomplish an enhanced understanding of the city government and to continue to represent my community.

Tam interested in running for office in Moreno Valley when I turn 18 and continuing my work as a commissioner.
Would you be available for meetings during the day or evening? Pursuant to Resolution 2016-42 all board or commission members must be registered voters of the City of Moreno Valley, provided they are at least 18 years old.

Yes (Not applicable to minors) I hereby agree to attend all committee meetings, unless excused, and understand that I may be removed for lack of attendance, pursuant to Municipal Code, Subsection 2.06.010(C) which states, "If a member is absent without advance permission of the board or commission or the appointing authority from three consecutive regular meetings or from 25% of the duly scheduled meetings of the board or commission Vacancy fiscal year, the membership shall thereupon became vacant and shall be filled as any other CERTIFICATE OF APPLICANT: I certify that all statements in this application are true and complete to the best of my knowledge. I understand that any false statements of material fact will subject me to disqualification or dismissal if appointed.
