RESOLUTION NO. CSD 2025-____
A RESOLUTION OF THE MORENO VALLEY COMMUNITY
SERVICES DISTRICT OF THE CITY OF MORENO VALLEY,
CALIFORNIA, CERTIFYING APPROVAL OF THE
GOVERNING BOARD TO ENTER INTO THIS
TRANSACTION WITH THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT
OF SOCIAL SERVICES FOR THE PURPOSE OF
PROVIDING CHILD CARE AND DEVELOPMENT
SERVICES AND TO AUTHORIZE DESIGNATED
PERSONNEL TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR FY
2026-27
WHEREAS, the Moreno Valley Community Services District Board of Directors desires to provide school-age child care services to the citizens of Moreno Valley during FY 2026-27; and
WHEREAS, the Moreno Valley Community Services District Board of Directors authorizes entering into a local agreement with the State of California , specifically with the California Department of Social Services, for the purpose of providing child care and development services; and
WHEREAS, the Moreno Valley Community Services District Board of Directors authorizes th e persons serving in the positions listed below to sign the transaction contract documents for the Governing Board.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE MORENO VALLEY COMMUNITY SERVICES
DISTRICT OF THE CITY OF MORENO VALLEY, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. Accept child development program funds from the California Department of Social Services, in the approved amount and any subsequent funding through future amendments, to provide child care services for FY 2026-27; and 2 Resolution No. CSD 2025-____

2. Adopt a resolution to certify the approval of the Governing Board to enter into a contract and any subsequent amendments for FY 2026-27, with the California Department of Social Services for the purpose of providing child care and development services; and
3. Authorize designated personnel to sign contract documents on behalf of the Governing Board for FY 2026-27.
